I've recently had some weird things happening in my reef tank. My bi-color angel--a normal sized dwarf angel--has dissappeared. I noticed yesterday that my CB shrimp is missing an arm. My cleaner shrimp (3) disappeared some time ago. And now, my yellow tang has a little "wound", about the size of a tic-tac, in his side. I have numerous small hermit crabs, small red crabs, and a small (quarter-sized) emerald crab. Any ideas on what's going on here? Thanks. Feel free to email... Juan johnny_phish at hotmail dot com

This would also indicate the possibility of a mantis shrimp. They most comonly get in tanks as hitch hikers on live rock. dave

its sound like a killer Mantis Shrimp. if it wasn't for the missing arm I would say a star fish could do that also,,,I had on making a home then when the fish swam in to the little cave it made,,, the star would close down on the fish... -- www.reeftanksonline.com www.nydiver.com ONLINE meeting rooms "Juan Valdez" <juan@coffee.com > wrote in message news:brqo51t094p54d5c1a8lu7luuf40t0ecl7@4ax.com... > I've recently had some weird things happening in my reef tank. Any ideas on what's going on here? You've somehow recently accidentally introduced a Mantis Shrimp?
