Subject: What's in your LFS?
I've started to carry a cheap digicam with me when I go to
fish stores. Here's a few thigns I saw today:

http://images.aquaria.net/stores/Canada/Ontario/Toronto/Menagerie/05/jan22/

I took about 5 pictures of each fish and these are about the only ones
that worked out. But I ran out of memory card space as the cheap camera
takes stmedia cards, not the cf cards I have in abundance. There
were probably 20 other species there I'd like to have taken pictures
of not counting the FIFTEEN species of Apistogramma there.

Anybody got any stmedia cards they don't use any more? "small" ones
like 16/32/64 megs? I object to paying $90 for one at the store and if
I order a cheap one from the US it'll still cost me $5 when the smoke's
cleared. Anybody want to donate one to the cause?

or to be more blunt, you bribe me with memory cards and
I'll shoot every cool fish I see. And will takes requests :-)

Yeah, weird, I have uucp-gw-1.dec.com for a secondayr nameserver and
at one point that was the biggest hariest nastiest namesevrer in the
known universe. Yesterday I couldn't even ping the pig. Try it now it
seems to work ok today.

Nah Richard its still down, that big bad pig is just an old Hawg now!!! :)
Are you the Richard Sexton that wrote an article about Crypt Taxonomy in an
issue of TFH not so long ago? I read that article and it was pretty good!

Whats in my LFS???? Well......the ONLY LFS in my area that sells 'half'
decent plants has a fishroom with every single tank INFESTED with cyano, and
I don't mean just smidgings here and there I mean THICK layers that are
pearling. Its the saddest thing, and I am forced into buying plants from him
as he's the only one that imports plants in the whole of
Johannesburg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........&*^%&&*%^$%
So the freshwater plant and fish tanks are covered with green slime and the
ine section is way, way way worse than the fresh, they have even thicker
matts of Bubbling red slime............
Next time I go I'll take a pic just so you can see how lucky you American
fishkeepers really are. I hear over there they actually label the
plants.....ROFLMAO.....what a pleasure. This is the LFS i use the most as
he's the 'plant guy' but when it comes to buying fish there are other shops
that are immaculate with quite a nice variety of fish to choose from.

Hope I answered your original question, or are you wanting species names
etc.
Regards
Cameron

It's a 20 year old Mercedes I got for $1500 in Atlanta 7 years ago
and fixed. It now had half a million miles on it's diesel engine.
Why waste money on cars when there's so many cool Cryptocorynes?
