I have a 26 gallon bow front tank with a 55 watt flourescent and 55 watt actinic light. Is this 55 watt Flourescent enough for a "jungle type" (Plants that require high light and nutrients) tank as referenced by www.thatpetplace.com in their live plants pack. Do i have enough light? Or do I need to change the Actinic bulb to another full spectrum light for total of 110 watts. is 55 ok or do i need 110? I have co2 injection by yeast method. Let me know what you think .. thanks

It's pretty easy to manage. No CO2 in that tank, yet. The plants I have in there don't seem to need it. -- "I have to decide between two equally frightening options. 55W is more than enough. 110W in a 26 gallon tank is a ridiculous amount of light for anyone but an expert. That's over 4WPG!! The fact that a 26 gallon tank is more shallow, allows even more light to the substrate. Anyways...... JMO http://www.geocities.com/spiral_72/Spirals_page.html
