check your water parameters and expect to do partial water changes as long as they
are spawning. keep a close eye on the female if she goes head down get the male out
of there. Ingrid

changes All has been well and everyone is healthy and happy. My Momma hardly
slowed down even for a few days. Makes me happy to know there are doing so
well. I must be doing something write thanks to all of you for all the help.

I was just wondering what it means if the female "goes head down" as you
said, Ingrid.

she is tired, and, it signals the male to leave her alone. Ingrid

Thank you. I want to spawn someday, so that will come in handy.

Sounds neat. My only goldfish are in ponds and
I seldom spend enough time observing them to
catch that behavior. Maybe this year. :)

I noticed similar behaviour from them on the second batch of eggs. I pulled
all the eggs out and put them in a seperate tub. Now I have a couple
