Tomorrow I'm going to start looking for a bigger fish tank (65-75 gallons).
Where did you all get your large fish tanks? Anything I should watch out for
while shopping? Thanks:D

I live in the US, New York to be exact.

There's only one independent fish shop around here that I'm aware of, otherwise
it's Petco/st.

OK, I've found a 46 gallon bow front that I like.

but...

Will it be big enough when my 3 goldfish are full grown? I'd like to keep them
in it forever if possible.

One thing I can say is that it is cheaper to buy all you need separately
instead of getting a kit. The kits are more convenient, but they come with
things you probably won't need, like tropical fish flakes, and/or a book or
two, etc.

I got my 90g at a LFS where it was being used as a display. I was told I
got a deal on it, but I found out I could have gotten a brand new one
cheaper at Big Al's, and mine has a chip out of it, too! I got my 40g at Big
Al's, at the big Boxing Day sale after last christmas. There were some
great deals then! We were in a line up for over an hour at the check-out,
but it was worth it. LOL.

Now is a good time to watch the newspaper for used equipment, too, as people
put their fish back into their outdoor ponds. You can get some good deals
then. I got 2x 20g tanks last year for $20 for the pair...
