Subject: How long do I keep baby fish seperate for ?

I have one baby goldfish that survived out of 7. It's now about 3/4 o
an inch long and looking in good health. It's in the main airiated tan
but in a breeding trap. How long does it need to be kept on its ow
before putting in with the other fish ? I'm worried about it bein
eaten or sucked up the filter. A bit of guidance would be great as I'
new to this

I'd say it's bid enough now, unless you have some super powerful
filter.

$$ Free it when it is no longer small enough to be eaten by it's tankmates.

$$ Watch the sizes of the fish. If something can swallow it they will.
Cover the filter intake with a sponge made for filters. Cut a hole in it and
push it over the intake.
